“So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full. For soon and very soon, “The One who is appearing will come without delay!” And he also says, “My righteous ones will live from my faith. But if fear holds them back, my soul is not content with them!” But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!”
“Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for.”
This is a time that requires all of us to move forward with endurance in faith. We are not called or even permitted to act out of fear or be paralyzed by fear. The Lord says right here that if fear holds the back, His soul is not content with us. Those are very strong words, and the Lord clearly gives no room to fear and does not accept the excuse of fear. He expects and calls us to bold, courageous faith -- and the promise that comes with it is true life. And listen to this, He says that faith makes our hopes reality and becomes the foundation to acquire what we long for. We need to operate in faith. Previous generations have done it, and it is our turn now. We cannot shrink back and be destroyed. We must rise up in faith and bold courage.
