Ecclesiastes 4:1

”Again I saw all the people who were treated badly here on earth. I saw their tears. I saw that they had no one to comfort them. Cruel people had all the power. There was no one to comfort the people they hurt.“

It can feel sometimes like the wicked have the upper hand. As more and more corruption, deceit and arrogance with the air of untouchability is exposed, we may be tempted to despair. We may be tempted to be overwhelmed and to take the position that we have been defeated. But let’s remember a few things - 1) we have been praying for years now for exposure. 2) humility, faith, prayer and praise will shift the power dynamics by shifting the atmosphere. Let’s look at Psalm 56:9-11 for the key: ”The very moment I call to you for a father’s help the tide of battle turns and my enemies flee. This one thing I know: God is on my side! I trust in the Lord. And I praise him! I trust in the Word of God. And I praise him! What harm could man do to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. My heart overflows with praise to God and for his promises. I will always trust in him.“
