#327 Digging Deeper into the Carbon Capture Scam w/ Brad LeBlanc

”As David’s time to die drew near, he charged Solomon his son, saying, “I am going the way of all the earth. Be strong, therefore, and show yourself a man. Keep the charge of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His ordinances, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, that you may succeed in all that you do and wherever you turn, so that the Lord may carry out His promise which He spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons are careful of their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’“

All of this chapter is David’s death bed instruction to Solomon about unfinished business, and throughout the chapter he tells Solomon to be wise in the way he approaches each matter. It’s clear that David  did not neglect to teach Solomon the scriptures and the laws of the Lord as well as the ways of the Lord. We know that the Lord considered David a man after his own heart. And that is what David is calling on Solomon to be as well -- to be careful in how he lives, to walk in integrity before the Lord with all of his heart and soul.

That’s what the Lord asks of us as well. His promise to David was that if his descendants were faithful to the Lord, he would never lack a man on the throne of Israel. His promise to us as we are faithful to love the Lord God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength is a place in His eternal Kingdom. So my charge to all of us this morning is to remember that we are part of an eternal Kingdom, and the Lord expects us to conduct our lives accordingly.
