#322 Healing Our Land w/ Steve Jarvis

Romans 8:18-21

”I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God’s children."

I believe we are in that time of the revealing of God’s glorious sons and daughters. We are the ones who love Him, who have pursued Him, and who are standing up and living and leading by example. How are God’s glorious sons and daughters revealed? The Bible tells us that the world will know us by our love for one another. And true love is seen by action, by our refusal to bow to evil, condone evil or allow evil to continue in our sphere of influence. All of Creation has been impacted by human sin, and all of Creation has been eagerly waiting for us to stand up, to speak up, to rise and shine and use the authority, power, understanding, skills and gifts given to us by Christ our Redeemer and King.
