#304Censoring The People & Other Legislative Updates

Habakkuk 1:3-5

”Why do You make me see iniquity, And cause me to look on wickedness? Yes, destruction and violence are before me; Strife exists and contention arises. Therefore the law is ignored And justice is never upheld. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore justice comes out perverted. “Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days— You would not believe if you were told.“

It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed with the corruption we see in the world around us. This has been an undeniable part of my awakening to what’s been going on in the world around us, and I have heard the same from many others. Moments and injustices come up that make us feel like the wicked have us completely surrounded. But God. But God. These are days when He is doing something so amazing, so transformative in our world that it astonishes us -- we are in the midst of it and if we step back and are honest about it -- we are regularly being astonished. Let’s not forget what the prophet Elisha told us -- that more are with us than are with them. And the Lord has put us each in this moment in history to partner with Him to take down darkness. So don’t give up. Don’t stay in discouragement. Rise up in faith and be sure you are fighting in the place He has called you to fight. We can’t take part in the glories of victory if we weren’t in the fight.
