Galatians 1:23-24 - Much of this chapter is the Apostle Paul recounting to the Galatian Church what happened to him after he encountered Jesus on the Road to Damascus.
”The only thing they heard about me was this: “Our former enemy, who once brutally persecuted us, is now preaching the good news of the faith that he tried to destroy!” Because of the transformation that took place in my life, they praised God even more!“
Let this be a fresh encouragement for us to pray for our enemies and those who are enemies of the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom. All it takes is one encounter with the Lord Jesus to radically turn someone’s life around and make them an incredible asset to everything they once worked against. This scripture is also challenging me to not judge where people are -- because we are all a work in progress. And the very people who I may judge and count as an enemy today may be one that the Lord will use in powerfully.
