”And may the Lord increase your love until it overflows toward one another and for all people, just as our love overflows toward you. Then your hearts will be strengthened in holiness so that you may be flawless and pure before the face of our God and Father at the appearing of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones. Amen!“
The Lord has been speaking me lately that He has chosen us - His devoted followers - to be vessels of service that pour out His love to the people around us -- especially those who are brokenhearated, lonely, sick or the vulnerable. In order for us to be His hands and feet, we have to have His eyes of compassion and His heart of love for the people He puts in our circles and in our path. I believe we may be heading into some very uncertain days. And that level of uncertainty puts people who are already hurting and anxious into even worse emotional and physical states. So we must be willing and ready to reach out and serve them in the love of Jesus that overflows from us, because He first loved us.
