Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man.“
The Lord made each of us with purposes that He desires for us to fulfill. Ephesians 2:10 says it this way - we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. What higher purpose, what more fulfilling purpose can we aspire to than the very one that the Creator of the universe made us for? Where can we get more fulfillment or have more enjoyment and fun than in the middle of the work that we were designed and ordained and called by God to do? If we are living on purpose in purpose, it’s so much easier to take pleasure in life and to see life as a gift. I hope that everyone listening today embraces that. There are few things better in life than having those moments where you can honestly say with full joy, I was made for this.
