”So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.“
Paul was writing this letter to the Ephesian Church from prison in Rome for his faith. And look at what he’s explaining-- he’s not telling us that we need the Lord to pour out His riches and favor on our lives. Instead, Paul was praying that the Lord would unveil or reveal to us the unlimited riches of God’s glory and favor that are already inside of us as believers redeemed by Jesus. Once we have that revelation, that Heaven’s Kingdom is actually and truly inside of us and we have full access and supernatural strength as children of the King to the unlimited riches of His Kingdom inside of us, we will be able to live as Christ did by tapping into Heaven’s Kingdom resources. Jesus was never lacking. He was fully able to heal, able to multiply food, able to cast out demons, able to walk on water, and able to raise the dead. When we have this revelation and tap into the very power of Jesus inside of us, we will live at rest in His love and truly recognize Him as the source of everything. I’m not there yet, but this scripture this morning opened my heart and eyes... and that’s the beginning.
